So I just found out that we are having a mixer with the theme of "Throwdown for the Hometown." We are suppose to dress up with things that represent where you are from. Okay... I am from Memphis. I have a few ideas, but I wanted to see what yall think of when you hear Memphis?! Any ideas of how I could translate that into a costume? Thanks in advance for your help!

You could dress up like a Doctor from St. Jude's... I went there to deliver blankets for a service project one summer. My friend's mom was the president of ∆∆∆ so we also took a tour. It is a remarkable hospital... It takes over 1 million dollars a day just to run! And they don't charge their patients!

Elvis and Johnny Cash came to my mind, but Elvis' costumes have sequins, so I think he's the clear winner!

Well, instead of being Elvis, you could dress up as Priscilla - look for early pics of Elvis and Priscilla when she had this really big hair! Let us know. Who is the frat ???
If you can bring a date, go as Elvis & Priscilla. If not...either one would be classic & let you enjoy the night w/out a lot of explaining your outfit! :)
Elvis, St. Jude's and The Peabody! Did you know I used to live in Memphis?! Where did you go to school?? I went to St. Mary's for several years and still have several very dear friends from there!!

Ha-When I think of Memphis, I think of somebody with a grill in their mouth and a gold chain riding on 22s. Hahahahahahahaha:) I think dressing up as Priscilla Presley was a very cute idea=)
