Movie Night!

I am pretty sure that most of my readers have figured out that I am addicted to Chick Flicks. While watching the Oscars tonight, as I am sure most of you are too, this trailer was one of the ads. It looks absolutely precious!! Sandra Bullock has been one of my favorite actresses since she starred in Miss Congeniality. Here is the trailer if you missed it tonight...

He's Just Not That Into You

The only way that I can describe this movie is that it is one of the most uplifting and depressing movies at the same time. I read the book a number of years ago, and have passed it around to many girlfriends in need. The movie has a slightly different message than I felt the book was intended to carry; but with that said, I highly enjoyed it.

My mom saw it last night with my grandmother and said that it was definitely geared towards people my age. I agree with this statement, but everyone can get something out of seeing this movie. It looked like the guys in the theater enjoyed it just as much as the girls. I would be interested in hearing their side of the story!

I guess it hit closer to home for me since I am single. Even though I don't feel like I fit in any of the categories of the girl characters, there was lessons that I came away with from each of the situations. Mainly, you need to be able to take risks. I am not in any shape or form a risk taker. But, I feel like I may have a new attitude when I go out tonight, and I am going to try to reach outside of my comfort level when talking to new people.
